How well do you think I could run the game at 1440p low settings on this hardware? Or could I push it to medium? The game doesn't perform well with AMD graphics cards. I use a 1440p medium-high setting on my RX 6900 XT, experiencing frame rates ranging from the 60s to around 90 frames per second.
The question asks about the resolution of your monitor. Do you mean 3440 x 1440 for an ultrawide display, or the standard 2560 x 1440 for a typical 1440p screen?
Purchasing via Steam lets you test it; if performance isn't satisfactory, ask for a refund. - If usage is under 2 hours and less than 2 weeks have passed since purchase, the refund will be processed automatically without any questions. https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/vi...-A4A1-C825 This applies even if you're outside the standard timeframe, though no assurances are provided.
The issue is we have data caps on our internet. So Its kinda like I want to be sure it will work good enough because its a large download. I dont like to burn data if I dont have to. Yes its an ultrawide. I actually run dual utrawides the one I use for gaming is 1440p.
The game won't run or what? That's what I'm trying to understand. If I can't play at 1440p on low settings, I might skip it. When I upgraded my monitor, I wasn't really gaming much then. My friend helped me get back into it during Sunday sessions. Outside of those days, I don't play much. About 99.8% of the time I'm browsing the web or watching media. So right now, I don't feel the need to buy a gaming PC. Honestly, I might just go for a Steam Deck full-time.
It would be unexpected to achieve 60fps with low settings in 1440p ultra wide.
