After rebooting your PC and starting the game, you're right to expect higher RAM usage during gameplay. The 80% mark seems high, so it might help to monitor performance or adjust settings if needed.
I assumed the problem was my computer because it just got updated, so I didn’t check if the game or others were affected. It turned out the issue was with the game itself, probably a memory leak—most likely already addressed in previous updates. The beep appears to be related to the game as well, though the exact cause isn unclear. Other users seem to be having trouble with it too, especially on WUWA. I’m sorry for any disruption I caused; I should have researched further before sharing this.
It doesn't always display everything, so please ask. Could you also include the Startup Apps list in Task Manager? It looks like the game interacts oddly with other software capture tools. How is video being recorded? The latest NVIDIA version captures it well for me. At first I had to enable desktop capture to obtain it, but it may no longer be necessary. I haven't tested streaming wuwa, but for other titles I might need to run OBS as administrator for proper screen capture. Regarding the beep, it seems like a hardware notification from connected devices such as USB or Bluetooth. If you can record it in software, it likely comes from your system rather than external hardware. It might be worth trying. If it still occurs, it suggests your DAC isn't involved and we should explore other options. Another suggestion is to launch the game with nothing else open—disable Discord, Opera, close non-essential tray apps—and see if that helps.
Your system still shows high memory usage even when the game isn't active. I'm currently using Chrome and Discord with only 8GB reported in use. I hadn't checked that before, as I've been playing wuwa continuously without issues. Based on your guidance, you might want to test a lower polling rate—such as 250 Hz—to see if performance improves. I've set this as the default for any gaming mouse now. Note: Your Razer mouse only offers 125/500/1000 Hz settings, and you chose 125 Hz. I understand you typically use 250 Hz on Logitech devices.
