Turned BIOS back to factory settings. 1. Shut down the machine and disconnect the power cable. 2. Apply a jumper to connect JBAT1 for 5-10 seconds. 3. Take off the jumper from JBAT1. 4. Reconnect the power supply and restart the device. Refer to your board manual; clearing CMOS is on page 39.
It's quite funny to think about, isn't it? Have you ever tried swapping out the fuse in your plug? It might seem strange, but sometimes people just toss old electronics away because they're completely dead—just a new fuse or power cable would fix it. I tend to begin with the easiest and most obvious cause before diving deeper.
The manual you mentioned hasn't functioned properly yet. There are no lights showing up. I've switched the cable and checked the fuse.
Your connection isn’t showing up? That’s odd. Are there any sounds when you press the power button? Should I try using a different power supply unit?
No need for anything unusual—just a dead device with no power or sound. Since I don’t have a backup PSU and can’t reach international support, I’m wondering if anyone knows what it is or if others faced the same issue. Would it be better to purchase a cheaper replacement now?
It might be the power supply unit, but it could also be the CPU/motherboard interchangeably. If you own a PSU for testing, we'd know it didn't resolve the issue. You could use a multimeter for testing, though that would likely have been done already. As an option, do you know anyone who can test your PSU on their system or lend one?
