I found it helpful to keep a secondary copy of data for safety. I’m planning to build a low-power backup server since I already have a 240V extension cord leading to an insulated shed or small home, which is about 70-75 feet away from the main house.

The Vega 64 is limited to DP 1.4 and HDMI 1.4 according to its specifications, which suggests I might have to hold off until newer AMD models arrive or the 3080 stays available.

It seems you're experiencing limitations with your setup, possibly due to the cable or monitor. The DP 1.4 cable typically supports up to 60Hz, so achieving 120Hz isn't feasible unless you use a higher-bandwidth cable or an alternative method. Check if your monitor supports higher refresh rates and consider upgrading your connection for better performance.

The Vega Card might have restrictions, but I think you could get 120Hz at 4K on your 6900XT using a DP 1.4 cable.

I sold my Vega 64 for $720 and purchased a 6800XT for $950. Everything is functioning properly now.
