I just completed it, HDMI worked properly before the driver was set up. I can view the BIOS and Windows logo, but once the driver is installed it stops working. After a forced restart, the issue persists—no signal after the Windows logo, though the DisplayPort remains functional.

Yes, you can connect a second monitor to the display port and check if Windows recognizes it as an HDMI source.

HDMI wasn't detected at all, could your regular HDMI cable be the issue? Should I recommend a version 2.1 HDMI for your RX 6600? I checked the RX 6600 HDMI version on AMD's site and it supports HDMI 2.1 with VRR and FRL, but I just ordered a different model.

In my view, it shouldn't be a problem. I personally use an RX6800X and haven't encountered any issues with HDMI cables. The main concern arises when trying to stream high resolutions like 4K120 or even 4K60 on older cables.

Based on what I've seen, it seems like a driver issue is more probable, though reinstalling didn't resolve the problem.

I'm using the newest version, 22.11.2. I'll test 22.5.1 too. My monitor is an old RX570 with HDMI, working at 1080p75Hz and free sync. It's not an issue there. I'm planning to upgrade to a 240Hz monitor but still saving. My current setup works fine on the existing one.

I'm currently running version 22.11.1, and my secondary monitor via HDMI is working properly. I might try to restart it again.

I've had the same issue a couple of times, so I'll wait for the new HDMI cable. Maybe it's just a cable problem. Speaking of updates, I tried using an HDMI to VGA adapter—it worked, though it feels weird. At least it functions now. I'm pretty sure it's my old HDMI cable, likely still supporting HDMI 1.0.
