I am having a problem with messages coming from my inbox. It doesn't make sense because old emails vanish quickly or get deleted without reason. I don't know what is going on. Is there any way to stop this? I want all my emails to stay in the folder. [OS = Windows 10]

All I can think of right now is maybe you have hit a limit on how many email accounts and storage space you used up. The specific email account: Is it an old one or did you just create it? How many accounts, emails, and storage items do you currently have? Even if the settings for that account look exactly like they are the same as your other ones, I would try changing them to something else, save it, and check if those new settings work. If yes, go back and reset again to what you want. The idea is that some early mistakes or glitches caused things to delete itself accidentally. Trying again might fix the deletion rules for this account. If that doesn't help then just ask Mozilla.

Look at your email setup options like the mailbox moves and rules. Probably something automatic where an app takes care of moving or deleting messages based on a set time period.

Actually (full disclosure) I am not a Mozilla user so the direct response is no. Your requirements are quite common to most email apps - the "how to" specifics can and do vary. However a quick google found the following link: https://uit.stanford.edu/service/office3...ird-oauth2 Note the "Email Retention Policy" link on the right side of the screen. Specifically: https://uit.stanford.edu/service/office365/retention If those settings do not resolve the configuration issues then look through the other options as necessary. Remember though to make only one change at a time and keep notes on what you change (original value to new value) and where you made the change. Just in case you need to undo some change.

Ok, i am back. I've tried different methods, including with the retention policy, all in order. Thing is i have multiple adresseses on same account, on others all is fine, but on another it auto deletes mails after a period of time. Verified all settings on all accounts, all are the very same. So why, if the same settings are the same, it deletes on 1 address, but on others all are fine?

For now, I think maybe you have hit a limit with how many email accounts and storage space you've used up. That specific email account? Is it old, or did it just get made recently? How many accounts do you have in total? And how many emails, plus all the attached storage are there? Even if every single setting on that one is exactly like the others, I'd try changing a few things around and save them. Then check if those changes work. If they do, go back and reset everything to what you wanted before. The idea here is that maybe some old deletions were caused by a glitch or bad data. Trying again might fix the deletion rules for this account. If that doesn't work, just ask Mozilla.

You're checking out POP3 or IMAP, right? If it's IMAP, the settings on your server are what matter most.
