They offer boards with BIOS flashback to let you update the firmware yourself, though these are pricier. If that's not an option, I'd consider their ATX A-Pro or mATX Pro-VDH models. I've seen the Mortar 3600MHz with a 16-21-24-42 chip paired with an R5 3600, suggesting the Pro-VDH performs similarly.

Zen+ handles this effortlessly. The signal at 3466 is quite weak. I can provide screen recordings for CL12/13, though they require more powerful equipment.

Thanks a lot to ShrimpBrime and Jurrunio! It looks like things are working out now with the Ryzen 1600 AF at 12nm instead of 14nm.

Be mindful, I’ve got an ASRock B450-pro4 board supporting the 1600AF. You’re planning to use BIOS 3.9, but that release suggests avoiding this CPU since it’s still a top-tier Pinnacle Ridge model. They advise against using it with the update—though you have the update, XD!
