In reality, RSI discussions mirror what other RSI forums do and sparked frustration over the P-72 being labeled a racer. Ben clarified that the Archimedes isn't considered a racer by definition. Although it moves faster than the Merlin due to its size, the visual rendering that resembled a racer was only one possible use case. Ultimately, it remains a high-end model, similar to how the Phoenix is viewed.
I possess the Merlin and Constellation individually. That’s what I’m saying to myself. It seems your messages haven’t addressed the question I posed. For instance, when I mentioned the answer in my original post, I clarified that I own each ship separately. I also mentioned this twice in my previous reply, noting my confusion about which Merlin belongs under Constellation and which is mine. I understand I can’t fly the constellation, but I’m sure the Merlin is available for free flight. Still puzzled as to why it isn’t listed among the free-fly options.

The concern about when last played likely stems from possible UI updates affecting your interface understanding. I might have overlooked some details... Since that isn't the problem, using the old 'delete user folder' method could be helpful. If that doesn't work, you may need to verify if there are any issues with your hangar listing on RSI or your profile. If none of these suggest a problem or resolve the issue, consider submitting a support ticket.

Worked perfectly. Appreciate it. Also, I found something cool about Merlin in Constellation Aquila being able to fly independently in the Sims. The choice lets me pick either the one I own or trade it for another item. I’m thinking swapping my solo Merlin for something else, but I’ll wait until I’m sure.
It functioned well. Were you considering an upgrade as well? Remember, it retains the original coverage—so be mindful during sales events and consider melting it if needed (you probably already understand the benefit).
I purchased the Merlin before switching the Aurora MR to a Constellation Aquila. I didn’t like the Aurora at all. However, I had some dog fights with the Merlin—it’s an outstanding fighter, quick response, fast, and precise. I can hit it with the cannon’s nose (size 2); I wish it had a size 3 cannon though. Still, it’s a great fighter considering its size and weight. I’m really happy with it. I strongly recommend the Merlin.
When I had free reign on ships (free flight) I actually tried out the auroras in vanduul. I honestly got a few of them through to the 9th wave on stock fits. All depends on the weapons really. Personally, I just wish that the cutlass was fixed, and that the Karthu-al is released. Other than that, anything else is just waiting for the PU and for the non combat options to surface (aside from space trucking).
I got the constellation to explore. I might get a 300 series as well. Dunno I like a lot of the ships out there. I really hope we can mod our ships realistically in game after the launch. Such as (just theorizing) I want to pirate I am going to get the biggest Gatling I can and modify an attachment to get it onto either ship I own. Kinda like rig my Merlin to take a size 4 gun versus the size 2 it takes now.
