Absolutely correct. It's unnecessary here. I was only highlighting that repeaters tend to perform poorly with today’s technology. I’ve tried them at home and with clients, but their consistency has been disappointing.

With 10g network cards, things would be incredible! You'd also require cat6a cables to ensure proper functionality, and it would be extremely fast.
