Hi everyone , just bought masterliquit lite 120 but there is a chance to change it with an other cooler , I will give some more money and will get used cooler master seidon 240v also it has 2 sp 120 fans on it , the user lost standart fans of it so , Should I buy it or use this ? I have i7 8700k , I can overclock it , but also I can buy 2 corsair ml 120 and make masterliquid sandvic ? which one makes more sense ? changing it or buying 2 corsair ml 120 , or wasting more money and buying seidon 240 v making it sandvic ?

Avoid purchasing a used water cooler from an individual. If you truly wish to save money, opt for a refurbished model directly from the manufacturer. Getting a used cooler from someone else can lead to significant issues, especially if the one you receive is more costly and effective than what you already have.

Sandvic is also about combining two (2) individual coolers into one (1). It seems like you're questioning this approach. If I were you, I'd just return your money from the coolers and opt for a better air cooler instead. The liquid coolers you mentioned aren't particularly effective.

Sandvic means both sides have fans at the radiator. I plan to use just one cooler. I already bought a Cooler Master Lite 120, but I can switch it. I found someone who wants to change to a Seidon 240 V model. The cooler has two Corsair SP 120 fans; he said he lost stock fans. If I upgrade to the Seidon 240 V, does it make sense? Or should I buy two Corsair ML120 fans and use a double fan at a 120 mm radiator? Which option is better? I’m considering the same price for fans or changing my cooler, but I can’t easily return money or sell my current cooler. That’s why I’m asking—should I change my radiator to 240 V or just use a double fan with the 120 mm radiator?

Sandvic is referred to as a sandwich configuration. The 240 model is a bigger radiator, providing greater cooling capacity, though it would require two fans, or four if using a push/pull setup with fans on both sides.

It has two sp 120 fans already, so should I switch my masterliquid lite 120 to the used 240, or add one more fan and make it a double fan setup? Is it worth changing two things?

the cooler master 240mm is quite old, and swapping a 120mm model for a 240mm seems unusual. I doubt I would make that change unless there was extra money involved.
also, buying a used item is risky because you don’t know if it has any problems—like a failing pump that can’t be fixed.

I personally don't see much gain with any scenario in this thread. We also don't really know the purpose behind possibly changing?

He mentioned he would travel overseas and sell his PC so he could purchase a new cube case abroad, intending to make a change. However, I don’t have any change regarding getting another 240 mm, the Seidon 240V is one year old, and it already has two Corsair SP 120 fans. He said he lost the stock fans, and I’m not sure what to do.
