Hello, your secondhand PC is producing unusual sounds and overheating on the CPU. The high temperatures suggest a cooling issue, which might be why you replaced the cooler. The noise could stem from fan operation, dust buildup, or internal component stress. Checking the fan speed, cleaning dust, and ensuring proper airflow may help resolve the problem.

Consider if the noise occurs when rubbing against something or points to a broken fan bearing. Take off the side panel and check the source of the sound.

It seems the sound is coming from the upper left side. I turned them around last time since both were expelling air and there wasn’t another fan blowing in. Could have been my mistake.

Your CPU temperature is high during games, but the cooler should kick in soon. You might still be able to play, though performance could drop. Waiting until next week might give you more time to cool down and avoid overheating.

Is there any airflow coming in from the front? The temperature is around 80-90°C, which is comfortable, but 100°C feels excessive.

I usually score between 90 and 97 points. Should I hold off for next week or should I jump in right now?

Which processor are we talking about? The 90C is fine in the short term, though the 97C might be a bit too much. I’d hold off for now. Take out the side panel and check if temperatures decrease slightly. It’s possible you could run smoothly for a week.
