I also want to know how a texture boost can instantly turn a game into needing a 6-core CPU.

Hyperthreading also hurts i5 users, it's a real pain.

The engine can handle six cores, though performance depends on the game and settings.

There’s no doubt about it, but I’d rather check this out first before agreeing to download the whole thing.

We require an individual equipped with a 6-core Intel processor to execute the test twice—first using all six cores, with two disabled.

Yes, certain games utilize six cores, and in the future, CPUs will feature more cores.

We're focusing on the game, but it seems the recommended setup of six cores and twelve threads isn't necessary for this texture pack.

That's just a small part of the developer, but the claim about the engine supporting six cores is accurate. In the future, CPUs will become more powerful, and games will leverage these as an example—like F1, which is quite CPU-intensive and uses all six cores in a 5820K.

People often wonder about the size of compressed files, but it’s surprising how much data can still be stored without compression. There may be practical reasons behind the current setup that aren’t obvious at first glance.
