Great point! Many older boards behave oddly when the CMOS battery is low or nonexistent. This is the initial stage. The next phase involves checking whether the board is failing. Sometimes a worn-out BIOS can be fixed by a reflash, and that’s how you proceed.

Don't worry if you didn't catch my last update—I'm currently running a CPU stress test on the motherboard and it's performing well so far.

I also reviewed it! And I shared my perspective on it.

Sure, I'll wait until I reach one hour on the stress test before swapping the battery.

You might hold off until it encounters another problem. It’s not a huge issue, after all. Certain boards work well without a CMOS battery. You could even take it out later and check the effects.

Currently, it merely restarts its BIOS.

it began malfunctioning once more, immediately after connecting devices to the SATA slot 3 and 4, and after installing a GPU in the second PCIe port. i’m uncertain about the reason it keeps restarting through the CMOS pin, and the battery seems to be faulty. yes, i’ve replaced its battery.
