H110 Pro with BTC and overclocking setup
Hello, I'm looking for guidance on enabling XMP/DRAM settings or overclocking my new RAM. I recently purchased an 8GB x2 Crucial Ballistx Memory, but it doesn't seem to reach its full speed of 3200Mhz. When trying to access BIOS settings and search for XMP, I couldn't find any information. Does this indicate my motherboard doesn't support this memory type? Are there alternative methods or should I consider replacing the board? Please share some photos so we can better understand the issue. Part Number: BL2K8G32C16U4WL
XMP is present in the BIOS. If it isn't listed, the BIOS doesn't recognize it.
H110 only works with speeds up to 2133MHz and doesn't allow CPU or memory overclocking. It runs games normally, but if they run slow the board won't improve performance.
Absolutely not a Gigabyte B450 board—they produce the lowest performance among their three rivals. Their memory overclocking isn’t better than the rest, and there’s nothing else worth it.
Choose a motherboard that supports overclocking and is compatible with your current CPU and RAM. Check specifications to ensure they match or can be adjusted for optimal performance.
