Isn't this a mining motherboard? You're using it for everyday tasks, right? Most mining boards are minimal and don't allow overclocking since they're mainly for connecting GPUs.

Which processor do you own? The H110 Pro supports Intel, while the B450 is compatible with AMD.

I agree with that thought.

It was then that I had no prior knowledge of the motherboard. After attending IT workshops and training, things started to change. The situation worsened when I attempted to overclock my PC. Right now, I'm running a Core-i5 6500 Skylake 65W processor.

I reviewed the entire motherboard manual, but didn’t find any mention of XMP. It seems this board doesn’t support overclocking. If you don’t mind, could someone recommend a motherboard that matches my RAM specs? I’m sure asking the seller would help. I’d also appreciate the best advice and some testing results. Thank you!

It varies based on the specific Ryzen 5 model, but for B450 platforms the top choices are generally the MSI ATX and mATX Mortar models, along with Pro VDH. Asus TUF B450 Pro and Pro S boards offer good value though they tend to be pricier initially.

You're deciding between keeping your Intel processor or moving to AMD. This choice is crucial.

I’ll move to an AMD processor if I can’t overclock the RAM, because my setup is meant for mining, not a general gaming rig. For a board aimed at mining, a good Ryzen around $500–800 should work well. If you want something official, check Asus’s TUF B450 page for CPU support recommendations.

A budget of 500USD covers a TUF Pro (not TUF Plus) paired with an R7 3700x, though prices vary by region depending on your needs. For more demanding AAA games, you might need R5 3600 or an R7 3700x instead. It really depends on what you're planning to use it for.
