Bare with it a few more hours and try it tonight? Nothing to lose if no other sensible suggestions appear! You haven't just updated graphics drivers have you? If so, try a rollback.

I noticed you're tagging me, so I'll participate. Which graphics card are you using? Have you experimented by adjusting one setting at a time to observe its effect on FPS? As discussed before, GW2 doesn't prioritize high-end setups since optimization remains poor. I found some AMD-related tips online—try enabling triple buffering in CCC, turning V-Sync on, and setting the frame limiter to 60FPS in GW2 settings.

It seems like the issue might be related to the driver. You may want to roll back the update. I don’t have any problems with the game on your 970, and it hasn’t worked before on your 6950.

You have an i7 3770 and a 970, no problems with GW2. The issue might be related to CPU usage—lowering character and LOD settings could improve performance.
