You're stuck no matter what you do. Back then with the AMD CPU and 7970OC, I got about 60fps and in world vs world it dropped to low teens for Zerg. Now using a 4970 and SLi’d 970, I usually see 60-90 fps and tanks to 20-30 during big fights. My friend SonoDanshi has a 980ti watercooled setup and averages about 5 fps more—especially since he's now on 1440p instead of 1080p. But the main point is, in GW2... go all out!

Performance dropped significantly on the CPU side. The edit button isn’t visible in TapTalk!

It's frustrating since I can't reach more than 15 fps even in quiet spaces, though it used to be much higher. 50+

It runs at full power on the GPU, CPU stays near 90%, and the system uses about 750M with an i5-4200M. At first it worked, but now it's unstable.

I understand. It's unclear why performance drops so drastically despite patches for Thieves Interactive. I don't see any evidence of 35fps loss in the current setup. You've essentially lost a PS4! [emoji14] Have you tried a clean reinstall? I'm on my phone and haven't checked recently. If updates weren't applied or something changed recently, it might have caused issues. Background apps like Steam, Origin, or Uplay could also be contributing.

I was able to avoid re-downloading around 20 gigabytes of data. Each time I play, Steam, Skype, and Chrome are running in the background, but they haven’t impacted the game performance yet.

Consider saving it during sleep instead of downloading it now. Unless you're limited by your data allowance.

I don’t wear a cap, but it’s not midnight—it’s just early morning, around 11 in the day.
