Lol... Yeah... Your GPU usage should drop. What I said just went straight over your head. Please look at your GPU GUI to check if your FPS is stuck. If your FPS isn't limited by your GPU, you might have a problem elsewhere. If it's only in BF3, it seems like a GUI issue—some settings made just for BF3 and not other games.

Sorry, sir. Because I’m not a native English speaker, I sometimes change words. I think I didn’t fully grasp what you meant. GPU GUI is similar to NVIDIA Experience, but it’s more about the interface for graphics tools.

Overclocking your CPU to 4.0 GHz might not resolve a bottleneck if other components are limiting performance.

4.0ghz? 4.5ghz? Could be worth checking, since the issue is the game isn’t using multiple cores effectively.

what cpu were you using ? It's entirely possible single core performance was better. Let me explain this: Let's compare the i5 4690k and the fx 8350 (both are similar in multithreaded performance. If a game can only use two threads , it will be able to take advantage of 50% of the i5's performance , whereas on the fx , it can only use 25% of it.

It seems the game isn't listed in GeForce Experience. Your system might have a 64-bit OS, but the executable is in the x86 folder—confirm if it's 64-bit or 32-bit before proceeding.

I used to have the Intel I3-3220 with four cores running at 3.3 GHz.
