Did you set up the AMD drivers version 15.5 beta to improve performance?

Set up the beta drivers first, then head back to the forum. Your friend’s version worked well—14.12 made GTA run smoothly despite the beta issues.

GTA V is available, and I noticed the GTX750Ti performs better than the 280. The Nvidia drivers for this game are significantly improved.

Consider this test driver. http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=399956 Also, disable all advanced options and adjust the density and distance scaling sliders. Make sure to use DDU.
