Remove the card from its slot and verify the slot is completely clean, free from dust or any foreign objects. Reinsert it carefully and reconnect the power cables. Use two distinct cables from the PSU, avoiding daisy-chaining a single cable. After completing these steps, confirm the power limit is accurately set to 100%. If it isn’t, consider using MSI Afterburner to enforce the limit. If that fails, flashing the VBIOS may be necessary. The 30 series cards feature a complex power/voltage management system, and various factors can trigger the power cap.
I’m not sure precisely what occurred, but it looks resolved. Everyone seems to be perfect now. Here’s what I tried: 1. Removed the GPU, inspected for dust. Swapped VGA cable for two single cables. Issue continued. 2. Set power limit to 100% in MSI Afterburner, no improvement. 3. Visited Gigabyte’s site to reinstall VBIOS or flash the card. Downloaded the Control Center Utility, installed it, and used default power settings (the card was already set). Power limit increased to 100%. Current FPS is 60+ in tough situations, which is normal. Still can’t confirm the fix, but it likely solved the power problem. Thanks!
