GPU doesn't fit
Hi
I just bought a 5070 MSI Shadow 2X but when I connect it to my motherboard, it shows this error.
The GPU is properly aligned in the PCIe slot, but it doesn't work and won't plug in any cable.
I have an MSI Mag Forge M100A case and a Gigabyte A620M S2H MB.
I really appreciate your help. Sorry for the poor English.
It seems the device is positioned in the incorrect slot, so you need to take out the grill from the bottom slot first. Adjust the GPU so it stands upright at a 90-degree angle relative to the MB. Otherwise, the alignment might be off.
The compromised GPU slots are bent and misaligned; the metal appears to have detached from the back of the case. Examining the area where the GPU screws in reveals it isn't properly aligned. I wouldn't recommend installing a GPU in this situation.
That's what I believed. A friend mentioned in the video that the USB cables at the bottom might be the issue, as this 5070 GPU is a bit bulky and can affect alignment. Uncertain.
take some high res pic of the motherboard without the gpu. something is in the way.
