Moved to PC Gaming *** I think you're either tweaking GeForce Experience or using a high preset game. Resolution matters, but the visuals also play a big role. If GE or the game decides, they'll render more detail for better hardware. Background processes can also lower FPS. Lastly, unless you've checked the numbers yourself, it's probably just someone joking rather than showing real improvement.

Dollars to doughnuts, this^. There's a difference between 1080p "low settings" and 1080p "ultra settings". A MASSIVE difference, in some instances. And yeah, an 80ti (10, 20 or 30 series) being used for 1080p just seems like a criminal act. If you really need the FPS, then I guess you should get that 500hz monitor and play in 720p. But you'll need a CPU upgrade.

Personally I really think a x80Ti class GPU requires a 1440p/1600p Display. Otherwise what is the point?

Personally, I believe screens under 2160p offer little real value...

This needs a screen with 1440p or higher resolution.

Others have noted that a 2080 resolution for 1080p gaming might not be worthwhile.

Unless the viewer owns a recent 500 Hz display, I’m curious about the cost of those headlines on YouTube.

I noticed something about them as well. It seems they're not meant for budget-friendly options. They're clearly targeting the e-sports community, especially players of Valorant and CS:GO.
