I wouldn’t be stopped by purchasing a game since I’m willing to accept DRM for the experience.

It was the same idea I had when I saw the original post. Since DRM-free matters, it’s already quite different from Uplay. Sorry if I got too detailed, but just to be sure, GOG and CD Projekt Red both belong to CD Projekt.

DRM stands for Digital Rights Management. You own the game and store it on your hard drive. This system is blocking you from playing it until a certain point. That’s what DRM does—it restricts your actions. Still, I’m not against it. I just get frustrated when it causes unnecessary issues.
