Your Samsung 850 EVO SSD has arrived today! It's time to get everything set up. Then came the Windows Update. Hmm, 200 updates? A lot of changes after installation? Not too fun, right?

I received numerous updates, and the 8.1 version required 12 hours for download and installation.

I use versions that include the latest updates, which saves me a lot of time compared to Windows 7 records, 177 updates. After about 16 hours it remained at 127. Eventually I gave up and stopped updating altogether.

I updated to version 8.1 with an 8-disc drive and 170 patches. Then I switched to 8.1... It took a whole day just for that. The issue started in the progs/games folder. Three days for the fix. T_T

I just completed two new installations. Updates seem to add around 500 points each. It begins around a mild 94, goes up to 120+, and then hits a major 197.

The Windows update isn't working properly for you, and you haven't installed any updates in a while.

I recently assembled a client's machine and encountered a delay of 24 hours for the updates due to frequent crashes. Curiously, have you successfully added the "Upgrade to Windows 10" option to the bottom-right tray?

Thats alright, doing some maintenance of my grandfather's iMac we ran into a power outage during an OS update. So, we had to reinstall the OS. And, oh boy... Took 16 hours for the thing to download and install. thanks crappy old 600KBs internet Lol... i remember back in the day 500KBs was the shit. Then we upgraded to a 1.2MBs package and it was like, holy crap, browse all the web

I just set up the OS, configured everything, and left the update running overnight. If I have other tasks, I let it update and then move on to the next thing.
