Get assistance from dual channels.
I’m assembling my very first PC. I purchased an Asrock B450M Pro 4 and two 8GB DDR4 sticks at 3200 MHz. My motherboard supports dual channels, but I’m unsure which slots to use—should the sticks go into A1 and B1 or A2 and B2? It seems the instructions aren’t clear, and I’ve checked the manual but found no relevant details. Just a chart might help, but I’m confused. Thanks. I’ve attached some photos from the manual if that assists. I’m also running a Ryzen 5 2600.
You can check if you're running in dual channel by looking for specific settings or indicators in your device's manual or control panel that confirm dual-channel operation.
Go to the download page for CPU-Z, open the memory section. Check the top-right label—should read "dual." That’s what you need.
