someone has tips on overclocking this card. You recently installed a new graphics card in your brother's computer, which runs an AMD dual core 3GHZ with 4 GB DDR2 RAM. You're trying to boost FPS for Fallout: New Vegas and are hoping it will help improve performance slightly.

I doubt you can push it further. If I got this right, you're sharing something you already have and giving it to your brother?
Even so, I think he won't gain much from Fallout: New Vegas—perhaps just lower-med settings on a 900p display.

Don't push the GT610 beyond its limits. Even then, it won't perform exceptionally well. You might have been better off choosing a GDDR5 chip rather than using 2GB of DDR3.

mine is a zotac nvidia gt610 synergy edition 2gb paired with zotac firestorm. i managed to overclock it to 900mhz for the gpu and 600mhz for memory, achieving an effective memory clock of 1200mhz while running the fan at full speed.

please don't bring up an old discussion again, especially since the details don't seem useful.

Because of a mistake, the complete details weren't shared. I mentioned I overclocked it to 670MHz memory clock and 970MHz core, which should increase FPS for games like Mw2, 3, AC2, 3 by 5-6 frames per second. Don't push it further—it could cause instability and possibly freeze your system.
