Yes, at one time I inserted an M.2 drive and had to reformat the original 1TB hard disk, then put Windows on the M.2. It happened sometime in November or earlier, but there were no problems before or after the M.2 setup (and during it).

It seems you probably set up something on the C drive once to test it out, but then you didn't remember?
Luckily, the stuttering has stopped.
