Experiment with these tips and see how they affect performance. It might help to disable DLSS initially before moving on.

Sure, here are the actual PC specifications. The Specy view provides limited details. You can install MSI Afterburner, enable the OSD, and monitor CPU, GPU, VRAM frequencies, temperatures, and more to detect any unusual spikes that might suggest hardware issues. Also, consider trying other RT games if you have them, as they may help identify problems with the 4070TI's RT cores.

The parts list shows I turned off DLSS but it didn’t resolve the issue. I’ve also tried previous registry fixes. One game segment crashed repeatedly; only by disabling Ray Tracing Reflections did I manage to proceed, though it still happened occasionally. Crashes seem more common when entering or exiting cut scenes—MSI Afterburner didn’t reveal any clear signs. Here are some graphs marking crash timings in blue.

It seems like the problem is limited to the game itself, likely due to a compatibility issue with Proton on Linux. It crashes occasionally while loading, particularly during quick travel. Your setup might be the cause. Is there anything else you'd like to know?

Typically it starts with RAM, a motherboard, BIOS, and software such as NZXT CAM. Before moving to the GPU or CPU, providing complete specifications helps others assist more effectively.

He attempted it, though with a separate note. I believe you're correct. The system appears stable until the crash, as shown by the Afterburner graphs. I've only experienced one crash in Hogwarts Legacy during more than 100 hours of playtime, so it doesn't seem to be the game itself, though it's possible. You might want to try disabling XMP and opt for a lower memory speed.
