I struggle to pay for many games, so I save and buy in bulk during Steam sales. At least I act like someone who can't afford a $60 title. When someone earns ten times what another person makes each month, it's unfair that you get their key.

However, your stance seems to overlook the fact that it may be causing some damage, even though it supports their economy. Your reasoning doesn't hold up.

Many of these items are purchased at shops—where supplies disappear quickly. In most developing nations, there are no alternative ways to get affordable games. We also offer them locally, though a significant number on Steam are missing due to key shortages.

Saving money isn't that simple for me. I spend about $40 each month, and most of what I earn is directed toward saving for some computer parts. I don’t feel bad about spending $9 on Shadow of Mordor, or paying the full price for GTA V to get a $100 shark card after a giveaway. Once it’s on my PC, I won’t have to pay again. If you got it on PS3, PS4, or the latest consoles, I’d really like a discount—maybe half off. Also, $40 a month is tough when trying to afford $60 for a new game. It seems I might be saving up for Fallout 4 instead.

I earn about 20 dollars each month, but I tend to save it instead of spending it. When sales happen, I can afford 5 to 8 games.
