G-sync leading to performance issues
I see, this has been an ongoing issue for me with Gsync and my computer over the years. After trying everything, I’m convinced static shock is the main culprit behind the calibration loss. Once I apply a strong static shock to my keyboard, the monitor disconnects and reconnects, which seems normal at first. But then I notice the screen stutters and it appears Gsync is trying to render frames just before or after they should appear. It turns out the only solution is to reapply a strong shock until the system resets. I’ve been dealing with this since Gsync launched, and unfortunately, no hardware tweaks or power cycles will resolve it.
