After updating the BIOS to 7B89v1I2 with the TPM patch and performing a full reset to Windows 11 Pro (previously 10 Pro), I encountered G-sync problems. On my desktop, when multiple apps are running, other windows become noticeably slow—often appearing choppy or running at very low frames. The worst case happens when using Parsec with YouTube open on the second monitor. Both the video and Parsec itself show significant lag, even without connecting to another device. I've also noticed similar issues with games, though they're harder to reproduce. After switching back to Windows 10 (64-bit) and reverting the BIOS to the older version (7B89v1D - AGESA 1.0.0.4), the problems persist. When G-sync is disabled, everything functions normally. Both fullscreen and windowed modes still cause the same issues. I've tested with an NVIDIA driver from 2021 on my laptop, but the same results appear. No prior issues existed before the reset with G-sync set to windowed + fullscreen. I've tried various fixes—driver updates, GPU/monitor changes, cable swaps—but nothing resolved it. Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated. -Cbwr

Yes, standard temperatures and typical loads are present. Everything appears fine.

It's odd how things feel after switching back to W10. Did you perform a fresh installation?

Yes, a fresh installation also worked. I returned to version 11 once more for a clean setup, but issues persisted.

Use DU to remove the GPU drivers, then fetch the newest versions.

Hi, I discovered a solution for this problem. Check out the full Reddit discussion here. You should add specific 3D settings for the laggy apps in the Nvidia control panel. I don’t have the English translations, but you can read the thread to better understand. Add an app, change “monitor refresh tech” to “fixed,” pick either gsync, ulmb, or fixed, save, then return to gsync and save again. Restart the app—this seems to restore gsync functionality.
