Installed rx6750xt and games are freezing at around 60fps. Benchmarks showed frame rates between 200-400fps. All free sync disabled, monitor is set to 165mhz. During loading screens some games spike to high FPS but drop quickly to 45-60fps with occasional jumps up to 75fps. Uncertain what to do next. I have an ASRock B450M Steel Legend motherboard with the latest BIOS, Ryzen 5 3400G processor, and 2x8GB RAM sticks.

Free Sync might not be working, but it seems related to V-Sync. It’s actually the frame limiter. We should also check the games, settings, and resolution. Your CPU isn’t very powerful either.

Your graphics card might have Radeon Chill activated, restricting frame rate to conserve energy

Sync signal is inactive and processor operates at 75% capacity.

I understand your concern, but since I haven't had any experience, it feels a bit intimidating.

Chill is off, I powered down everything and it stayed the same. Currently tested on bg3, ghost recon breakpoint in Steam, pillars of eternity on Epic Games Store, and all games maintain 200fps during loading screens and menu until full game load, after which they instantly drop to 45-60fps.

I checked the records, but there isn’t a benchmark listed with those performance numbers. It looks like the build you mentioned doesn’t match any of the commonly tracked metrics for gaming frames. Did you perhaps want to share more details about what you’re measuring?

Currently, I've checked performance on bg3, with breakpoints set for Steam and also on Epic's old pillars of eternity.
