Yeah, it's unclear whether the new feature is an actual app or just Shadowplay. Interestingly, Nvidia's performance overlay often leads to significant slowdowns—something common with these kinds of issues. That's why I usually suggest ISLC, which doesn't interfere and effectively resolves OS-related memory leaks.

I rarely see the Nvidia app or GeForce experience active. I only used it to document this problem. It looks tied to how much time is spent in-game versus idle. It becomes clear when I play a game for about an hour and then jump into another one. I’m curious if it’s connected to Windows 11 game mode or a gaming overlay feature.

You're right to question that. A memory leak would indeed consume RAM over time, but it doesn't necessarily mean all available RAM is immediately used at once. The stutter you're seeing might occur when a small amount—like 15GB or 16GB—is being utilized, and the system adjusts as resources change. The slight drop in performance with less than full RAM usage could be due to how the application manages memory dynamically.

Not always necessary... it's worth a shot—follow the instructions, verify it's active. Generally simple solution (probably). Remove NZXT CAM and Razer Synapse, both resource-heavy and often problematic (like causing stutters or crashes), then reboot the computer.

You can indeed utilize icue for that... it looks very precise and, according to my setup, it consumes minimal resources (around 0.3% CPU... I'm okay with that lol).

Absolutely understood. I aimed to capture the sensor data from your Rivaturner overlay so you could monitor wattage during fullscreen gaming. At that point, you didn't have a second screen, which is why it felt a bit confusing.
