Another potential problem exists due to differing screen refresh rates, alongside thermal throttling. This can lead to stuttering, although it’s currently difficult to isolate this issue due to the throttling. A relevant discussion can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/co...itor_with/. While the thread focuses on Nvidia, it appears to affect both brands. Several workarounds exist; however, a consistent solution involves using screens with identical native refresh rates.

Thank you for the advice. Do you think it applies even if I'm using my monitor as a single screen, without extending and making it a multi-screen setup?

It is fine. It doesn’t matter if you aren't playing.

I attempted to use the same refresh rate on both monitors, but the issue persisted. A new and unusual problem has also emerged: my computer is now randomly crashing, displaying a blue screen with an error indicating a Video Scheduler Internal Error. I am scheduled to have my thermal paste replaced tomorrow, in the hope that this resolves the problem.

A video scheduler internal error occurs due to graphics card issues, resulting in a stop error code. Contributing factors include corrupted system files, recent software or hardware modifications, a damaged Windows registry, malware infections, and outdated graphics drivers. Perform a virus scan using Adwcleaner (https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/). Execute the System File Checker (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help...le-checker). Update your laptop's drivers (https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/...op/drivers).

I have completed all the instructions you provided, and my frame rate issue has resolved, even when utilizing my external monitor. Thank you very much for your helpful suggestions. Despite this, I continue to encounter a Video Scheduler Internal Error that manifests during game startup, system restarts, and subsequently disappears. I have rigorously executed each step you outlined previously. Could you offer any insights into why this persistent problem continues?

I lack that ability.

It appears to be a driver problem, as it initiates a boot process followed by playable sessions. If the issue stemmed from hardware malfunction, boots would be more reliable and playing may become impossible. I hope any attempted solutions didn't involve modifying registry files, as such alterations can destabilize the system and typically necessitate a full Windows reinstall. Does the problem persist when the external monitor is disconnected?

Yes, that is what I believe occurred. I recall specifically following this tutorial: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkMXlkn2qbc. However, most of the settings he suggested changing were already configured as he described. I hope this is not the source of the problem. Furthermore, I completed this process some time ago, and the error recently began appearing. I have not encountered it when my monitor is disconnected.

When I begin playing League of Legends, a specific error consistently arises during the game’s loading process. This always occurs simultaneously with the initial load time, and I typically minimize the game window to access my browser when this happens.

Does the issue occur when a browser is open? Check if Hardware Acceleration is enabled within your browser's settings and disable it to see if that resolves the problem. The provided instructional material is inadequate; it lacks clear explanations of the implemented changes. It simply presents a series of actions without context. The author may have copied content from another online source, perhaps on Reddit. Furthermore, the author’s responsiveness to positive feedback was swift, but limited support was offered to users experiencing continued difficulties.
