You didn't use VSync. I set my FPS limits using MSI Afterburner's frame limiter feature, which controlled the refresh rate.

I used Evga Precision and adjusted it in the game file settings, setting it to 67 on MSI afterburner.

You're currently using VSync and it's working fine without any tearing. Slightly reduced performance isn't a big issue for you, especially since you're used to smooth gameplay. Losing a small percentage won't affect your experience much, and the absence of tearing is a nice improvement!

You can revert the in-game file settings to the original value of 250 or maintain the current setting of 60.
