your monitor runs at 60hz, but you're avoiding V-Sync to prevent lag. setting max fps to 60 doesn't fully resolve tearing issues. check if your graphics settings are optimized for lower resolutions or higher refresh rates. consider adjusting display scaling or using a higher refresh rate if supported.

We're discussing the specific game in question. Regarding performance, can you achieve 60 frames per second consistently?

Setting the frame rate to 60 isn't compatible with your GPU and display, which can cause tearing. The only solutions are enabling V-sync or using an adaptive sync monitor like gsync or freesync.

If it's running at 45 frames per second, it’s likely causing issues. The best solution is matching your frame rate with your monitor’s settings. Even a small difference in FPS will make tearing visible. Some games offer options to lessen the effect, but only syncing your game’s FPS to your monitor’s rate can truly eliminate the problem.

Adjust the maximum frames per second to match the screen's refresh rate of 67 Hz. It seems this setting helps me.

Other titles similar to Overwatch offer smooth performance at 90 FPS on a 60 Hz display, eliminating tearing. It could very well be the game itself.

It’s best to slightly reduce the settings in the other game to maintain a steady frame rate above 60 FPS. This adjustment will cause the game to cap at 60 FPS, aligning perfectly with your monitor and removing any tearing issues.

Did you check for VSync during that process?
