Foxconn motherboard 17A0 specifications and BIOS details
Initially I'm attempting to enable ACHI Mode on my BIOS because my Samsung SSD 840 evo 120gb is hitting full disk usage with no write or read speed. My Windows 10 freezes but the mouse still works, then it restarts after a while. Regarding the motherboard, anyone know the Foxconn model 17A0 BIOS key to access it? I turned off fast startup and tried pressing F1-F12-F10-F9-F11, but I'm not sure which one gets me into Boot Management—it seems like I don't recognize it. Do you have any idea how to open the BIOS settings or find the AHCI configuration there? Thank you.
Check if every motherboard supports AHCI configuration. It varies by model, so some may allow enabling it while others don’t.
Yes, it’s an older HP machine. It appears to be the HP Pro 3330MT with a G630 chipset and 1 core, 2 threads.
This board seems to be an HP prebuilt unit. However, the details I see match a Core i5-2400 processor, 12 GB of RAM, a 1 TB hard drive, a 120 GB SSD, and a GTX 1050 graphics card.
I checked the details you shared. I’ll look for a guide on the HP website to help you further.
Thanks, I’m hoping enabling AHCI mode resolves the issue with my SSD.
Because I’m unsure about the build type, please align the BIOS revision with either the microtower or small form factor here. Updated. Below are the drivers and BIOS for the small form factor model: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/sel...pc/5160088 The same model is available in microtower version: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/sel...pc/5160080. It seems the manual is still being refined, but manual results aren’t helping.
