Foxconn motherboard 17A0 specifications and BIOS details
This setup is typical for a standard tower or case. I purchased it with 8GB RAM, a 120GB SSD, and the motherboard, PSU, and CPU—just the essentials for a temporary PC. The form factor isn’t compatible with your current hardware.
Here you are. The manuals section. I confirmed it's the "micro tower" (similar to a tower case) https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-...80/manuals All the details are ready for your board. You now have everything!
I discovered a method to input BIOS and switched from IDE to AHCI to access BIOS settings. I need to repeatedly press ESC and it will display options, so I selected the one with F10 function (though I might have meant to use F10 earlier but it didn’t work). In the BIOS I changed the setting from IDE to AHCI. Restarted the system and encountered a blue screen stating "Boot device not found" (sorry, I was easily caught up). Before this, I performed some registry adjustments regarding AHCI that I had previously viewed. Setting up the BIOS again didn’t succeed, so I ended up returning to IDE.
Typically switching to AHCI results in a Windows reinstall. This was what happened with my older machine when I added an SSD during the Ivy Bridge era.
