Choosing one simulation approach still doesn’t guarantee realism. The Crew isn’t believable beyond the fact that the vehicles in the game are based on real-world existence.
Based on what I've noticed, Horizon 2 appears to be the superior title. During the closed beta for The Crew, I found the gameplay to be quite lacking. For comparison, I only played the initial Forza Horizon, and the driving experience was significantly more enjoyable. Currently, I believe Horizon 2 offers excellent physics and driving mechanics, though I haven't had a chance to try the demo yet.
Project CARS is essentially a racing simulation where you navigate restricted circuits, while The Crew and Forza Horizon 2 offer open-world arcade experiences. Many players avoid closed tracks, but I enjoy both formats. I plan to try Project CARS when it launches, though personal taste will determine if you prefer it over the others.
