Intensive gaming setup... 32GB storage. Designed for heavily modified titles and running without closing browsers or other applications. Standard gaming remains at 16GB, even with AAA games that aren't packed with third-party modifications.

It relies on reviewing your RAM consumption to determine requirements, but these results come from recent gameplay and typical usage patterns.

Used 16 for both DDR3 and 4. Never exceeded 70% usage. Only got 32 since I could and I prefer the appearance of more sticks. You might find a better place for that extra money.

A 4x8GB configuration would be ideal, as titles such as Cod and BFV lose frames when RAM exceeds 50% utilization. The decision also hinges on locating a more suitable option for the additional 100 dollars.

Unless you're running a resource-intensive background RGB tool like me, with 8GB or more, you won't need more than 16. I've never seen a game over 12 on its own, even with heavy mods. EXCEPT ARK

Ark runs smoothly with 19 modifications and a few Chrome tabs active, consuming about 15.5GB of memory. Servers hosting over 30 mods exceed the 18GB limit. Consider checking it out and updating your post if needed.

I would have 32GB of RAM, which would make it run more smoothly.
