It will probably be a few degrees warmer than the 5900X, which is about as hot as the 3900X. I don’t recall anyone mentioning the 3900X being that hot.

I don’t have access to the video card or recent AMD video card encoders. However, I know a lot about my 2070 Super video encoder, though that’s just personal experience.

Based on my experience, GPU-intensive games work better with a Ryzen 7 1700. You need to allocate threads between OBS and the game to avoid frame drops.
