I recommend using Waterfox or backing it up with a Sync account, then completely removing Firefox and reinstalling it. I'm on Windows XP and have experienced no issues with version 30.

It's strange how a browser can trigger a BSOD even though I haven't experienced any problems before. The only thing that stands out is my video card, which is overclocked, and it generates a lot of heat.

I’d look at your overclocks, but it seemed like only Firefox was working. The CPU clock looked normal, so it must be the RAM. Try resetting your CPU and RAM to their default settings.

Initially I tried using Waterfox, but it's 64-bit which works fine for most sites—except some older ones like Battlefield. Whether it's good these days depends on what you need.

I mostly rely on Firefox since the battlefield doesn<|pad|>'s support 64-bit browsers. However, I used Waterfox for six months with lots of tabs and it worked perfectly! Give it a try.

You don’t mind many things about Chrome. If your PC crashes with a BSOD, it likely points to deeper Windows problems you should address.

BSODs are generally linked to hardware issues. Firefox 30 has performed very well for me. It's important to remember I use bookmarks, so I don't have 6 million tabs running. However, it's advisable to inspect your system for hardware faults, especially if you've overclocked your setup.
