No, the b550 board offers better value and can handle most tasks that an x570 can manage. It falls short in supporting Ryzen 9 3900X or 5900X, though it might work with 2700X. Overall, it provides poor value.

Absolutely correct, I missed the point about the current pricing of X570 boards. There are affordable options such as the Asus X570 Prime and budget-friendly B450 models like the MSI Tomahawk Max and MORTAR Max.

They have weak VRMs and cooling for these parts. Look at our tier list on the forums. The Asrock B450 Pro 4 seems to perform better.
