I understand because we still use this model just by swapping the 200mm front fan last year since it finally stopped working after eight years. Now it has lights that we turned off. A case is similar to speakers—has been refined over time and remains functional. It hasn’t suddenly become useless; it’s just not suited for the very large devices we now have. It also doesn’t degrade quickly because it’s made of durable materials. Speakers behave the same way. My current units are 36 years old, found at a flea market, and they’re still in great shape. They were originally priced around 40€. Hope you can find something comparable for less than ten times that amount (very expensive Sony models from the past).
Impressive, 36 years! I've relied on Creative 5+1 speakers for 18 years and never thought it would last that long. The AM5 air coolers I've found locally (the three you mentioned aren't available nearby) are: Cooler Master Hyper 212 - $47, Deepcool AK400 - $58, NZXT T120 - $56, Id-Cooling SE-226-XT - $75, ID-Cooling SE-207-TRX - $98. There are many more options to explore, but I'll need to do some deeper research for better value.
Do you have a website? Because some parts from the AK400 and Id cooling 226 aren't great. The same goes for those two models too. The 207 is actually cooler—specifically a threadripper—and it's not compatible with AM5 in any way. It's just too big to fit in the socket. I don't know why your site blocked it, but this cooler is currently the best available.
