Feeling anxious and unsure about the temperature (and noisy fans)
Hello. I've been enjoying my gaming sessions as usual, but lately I'm becoming concerned about the temperature and odor in my PC. The fans spin quite fast during games, and sometimes even when I open multiple tabs in my browser. That's unusual on its own. The main problem is that in certain games I can detect a noticeable heat. It smells like hot components rather than actual flames. There are no visible signs of damage, so it seems more like an odor. I'm hoping for some advice here. The loud fans seem to kick in instantly when I start a game, which makes me think the issue isn't related to overheating (probably). My system specs are: RTX 2080 Super, 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11900KF @ 3.50GHz, 32GB RAM. The cooling setup includes Be Quiet Silent case fans and a Dark Rock PRO 4 CPU cooler. There was a recent sale, so the case and cooling components are from that brand only. The temperature readings came from playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 at 1440p and 120fps with mixed ultra/high settings. The frame rate is limited, and the afterburner effect appears while the PC is idle on the desktop. (I note the 210MHz near the GPU fluctuates between 0 and 210 MHz – unclear meaning.)
Have you ever taken a look inside your fans? A simple dust-off in a can could fix the issue.

Examining the images reveals that those supporters are heavily covered in dust, especially those at the front.
While enjoying Apex Legends in the training area, the outcome should match what you experience in PvE mode. I believe that's the case.
