Hi! I’d love some opinions on a build I made. Just want to note that I already have the peripherals (headset, keyboard, mouse).

Perfect! That's exactly what I was looking for - a concise and informative explanation of the difference between the processors. No extra fluff or commentary whatsoever. Thank you!

Here’s a rewritten version of the text, using different wording:

“Let’s rephrase this for clarity. The primary concern is with the SSHD drive itself. While offering a combination of solid-state and traditional hard disk technologies—which provides some value—it's going to be significantly limited compared to even an inexpensive SSD. It won't meet the performance expectations of a fully dedicated SSD, and there are aesthetic improvements that would be difficult to implement. The biggest issue is the SSHD’s inherent limitations.”

Adds a 500GB RGB SSD in there.
Cheaper case, but that Cougar case it a tough one to justify - Not only is the case cheaper, it has substantially better airflow with the mesh front panel. Money went into a 280mm AIO (w/RGB), mostly.
I switched out the GPU, as the Black from EVGA lights up better IMO - although the Windforce is a respectable card.
I did change the CPU + MB to a 9700K + Z390. Still a ~$500 cost for the pair, but if I were spending that today, I'd look to the a stronger 8core opposed to 6c/12t. Can't go wrong either way.
Also changed out the PSU. While the TX650M is a good unit for the money, it's a no-contest IMO, when a SeaSonic Focus+ 650W is only a small amount more - especially when you’re looking to drop $1,800 on a system.

Barty1884 :
A very solid system, although there would be changes I would look to made (mostly aesthetic).
The biggest issue I see though, is the SSHD. While it's a nice balance of SSD & HDD, it's still going to fall a ways short of even a budget SSD.
That was the second thing I picked on, right after the BeQuiet budget cooler that could never handle that CPU well even at the stock configuration much less if they decide to overclock at all.
