Better res textures appear on xplanes, making the experience smooth and enjoyable while flying.

I seriously considered the X plane, but it costs $60 and isn't significantly better than FSX.

It's worthwhile if you obtain the high-resolution textures and a few additional mods to enhance the visuals. At 60 dollars, it's a reasonable investment for a global flight sim.
