I switched to Windows 10 after a few months without running FSX, and now I’m back but it doesn’t work properly. I can’t reinstall it. Thanks for all the great memories. Farewell to Flight Simulator X, and you’re not welcome here.

Check if you have the Steam edition installed. If not, compatibility mode might help.

If you don’t own the Steam edition, prices often fall to just a few dollars or euros per unit. Edited: you can still get them for a game that launched nine years ago, even though it might still have some bugs on a brand-new operating system.

It's frustrating when a game designed for Windows Vista isn't working on Windows 10. It seems the developers didn't account for that version.
