I own a 970 with 60 frames per second, achieving 99.99% smoothness most of the time. The rare 0.01% moments cause stutter, especially when using ADS in groups of enemies—something that often clashes with other high-demand tasks. Those instances are really frustrating, forcing me to switch to hip firing, though the rest of the time it runs like a dream (99.99% consistency).
Really poor quality. I’d see drops around 20 frames per second in a tight space. Sometimes I’m facing one direction and get smooth at 20fps, but turning the camera shifts it to 60fps. I set the shadow distance to medium, but the god rays aren’t working. I’ve always had issues with 390 even when I’m stable at 60fps. The 290 does better, with fewer drops and almost no stutter.
I've been enjoying the game since its release, with automatic updates active. Mostly it's remained consistent. The only problem after the patch was the mods being turned off, which was resolved quickly. From a performance standpoint, everything has been smooth from the start. In terms of gameplay, I really hope they fix the settlement system so resources aren't misregistered. The only thing missing is the 'benevolent leader' achievement because of that bug.
