I refreshed the system information and now the boot priority list includes the Windows boot manager (Samsung 950 Pro), which wasn’t present before. I experienced a BSOD stating the boot drive was inaccessible, suggesting it can’t reach my storage device. I’m unsure what to do next regarding this issue.
Could the system have failed? Or was it simply disconnected for too long? How many months were the PC offline and unplugged? You might locate the boot drive, then switch Windows to another storage device—any spare hard drive would work. After that, reinstall the SSD and attempt to access the files while booting from the spare drive. You could also perform some diagnostic tests on the SSD, checking its SMART status.
It seems like the system was briefly disconnected and then restarted. An older Windows 10 version is already running on your hard drive before the SSD was installed. This version appears in the boot priority list, but it doesn’t start there, so accessing the SSD through that installation isn’t possible.
Finally, I brought it to the repair shop where they just replaced the windows—might have handled it myself, but alas!
Hello Everyone, I'm facing the same problem. My BIOS recognizes the HDD but when trying to boot it shows an error like "NO BOOT DEVICE FOUND" and then switches to the CD drive instead.
